We are a responsible couple in our late forties, we employ no staff and cover all duties ourselves, ensuring a personal high quality service. We established our business in 2005 and can provide good references..jpg)
Fleur 's previous career involved 23 years as a full time Nanny (in UK and abroad) entrusted with full responsibility for children and also their family’s homes. She then worked as a teaching assistant in a special needs school where she still helps out on an occasional supply basis when it fits in with our silver cover* work. The remainder of her day if not on a gold cover* booking is filled by our daily pet visits,dog walking and home security service.
Dave has run a successful decorating business for 26 years, working entirely on word of mouth recommendations with no need for advertising, he has always been entrusted with customer’s homes, often left to complete work whilst they are on holiday. Being self employed gives Dave the flexibility to combine his work with our service to you.
We are both animal lovers and keen walkers (Dave runs a walking group: http://www.walkhorsham.com/ )so your pets will be in good hands. Dave is also capable of dealing with most plumbing, electrical and other household emergencies that may arise.
We can be very flexible to accomodate your individual requirements but our standard packages are as follows (see price list):
*1. ‘Gold’ 24 hour cover, this guarantees that at least one of us will stay in your property at all times day and night.
*2. ‘Silver’ evening/overnight cover. Times for this can be adapted to suit your needs, we find some clients are looking to prioritise home security, for others the priority may be minimising the time pets are left alone or a combination of both.
With both levels of service we base ourselves in your home. We provide our own food and mobile phones so won't run up your telephone bill. We will need to use your cooking, washing and sleeping facilities. We do not bring our own pets and your home will be well looked after and returned in the condition you left it. We are both non smokers.
We can also offer an option of combining our housesitting service with redecoration work which can offer you substantial savings on the 24 hour cover as it enables Dave to work whilst covering your property. Please enquire for decorating quotations.
We carry public liability insurance for both your and our peace of mind. Our service is discreet, we do not use signwritten vehicles, we don't tell people where we are staying and will not invite guests into your property.
We also offer the following as stand alone services subject to availability:
Daily dog walking duties and daily cat/small animal visits.
Home security visits (opening and closing curtains, switching on lights, checking for water leaks/power failure etc).
Please Note: We do get very booked up. To avoid disappointment we suggest, where possible, that you contact us prior to booking your holiday to give the best chance of us accomodating your requirements .
